PRAYER & EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION IN THE CHURCH?
'Prayer is communication with God and an awareness of the Creator's powerful and loving presence.' There are different forms of prayer in the Catholic Church. The highest point in the worship of the parish community is the celebration of the  Eucharist or Mass. The Eucharist is at the centre of our Christian life.

The Mass involves the Liturgy of the Word and of the Eucharist. The Eucharist is a rite that re-enacts the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross to save us from our sins. The bread and wine offered up by the priest become the body and blood of our Lord. The Eucharist is a channel of divine grace, healing and blessing.  As food of life, the Eucharist satisfies our spiritual hunger, nourishes faith and builds the Church as the authentic community of the people of God. Lively Eucharistic celebration animated with uplifting hymns takes place  in our Parish Church every Weekend. Please join us to celebrate the love of Chris

CONFIRMATION

The Sacrament of Confirmation, in which we become courageous witnesses of Christ. The Catechism of the Catholic Church states: "God the Father has marked you with his sign; Christ the Lord has confirmed you and has placed his pledge, the Spirit, in your hearts."

Holy Communion

BAPTISM

The first sacrament one receives is  Baptism, which gives one an introduction to Christian life. When you are baptised, you are incorporated into the Body of Christ and this is a part of an initiation which continues through the sacraments of Confirmation and First Communion.

Rite of confirmation

FIRST COMMUNION

This is the first time you will receive the sacrament of Holy Eucharist, which involves eating consecrated bread and consecrated wine. During this Mass, it is believed the blessed bread and wine becomes the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
